Pitch a frame

The Viewfinder Edit welcomes pitches that make a phone photography decision clearer. We are interested in specific, useful ideas about framing, available light, camera controls, editing, or managing a photo library, with room for honest comparisons and limits.

What makes a strong pitch

Send a short proposal explaining the central question, the reader it serves, and what the piece would help them decide. A good pitch has a distinct angle, stays within phone photography, and does not repackage a familiar tip without adding a useful comparison or qualification. Tell us what material you plan to rely on and where your approach has boundaries.

Clear, independent work

We look for accurate, original writing in plain English. Avoid unsupported claims, inflated promises, and recommendations that treat one phone or app as universal. Disclose relevant commercial interests or supplied products in your proposal. We do not accept pitches that require invented testing, credentials, or results.

Send a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title and a brief outline; a complete draft is not needed unless requested. Please do not submit confidential material or assume a pitch has been accepted before receiving a reply.
